Administration

The Trust is administered by a body of elected trustees, honorary trustees, and the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Shaftesbury are trustees in their years of office.

Finances

Income comes from dividends and interest on the capital invested from donations collected in the Hovis Loaf on Gold Hill and also from gifts and legacies.

Grants

Grants are awarded by the trustees using the money received from the Loaf and from the income received from legacies and donations placed in a capital account.
